What?
I provide face-to-face psychological therapy. Sessions are 50 minutes each. You do not need a referral to access psychological therapy, though you may wish to obtain one in order to access funding (see information regarding fees).
We will begin by developing a shared understanding of the problem that brings you to therapy before we embark on treatment. To ensure consistency and stability, we can set up a standing appointment at a frequency we agree on.
My consulting days are currently Mondays and Wednesdays. A limited number of after hours appointments are available.
For whom?
I offer services to adults (18+) of all ages. Currently, I do not work with children or adolescents. You may or may not have a diagnosis - you do not need to have a mental disorder to access therapy.
Therapy with me might be for you if you are experiencing:
Feeling stuck, helpless, or uninspired
Fear, anxiety, and worry
Depression and other mood concerns
Stress
Relationship difficulties
Grief and loss
Life transitions e.g., retirement from work
Hoarding and compulsive acquiring
Issues specific to ageing
Neurodiversity (ADHD, autism)
The therapeutic relationship is essential for producing meaningful change. It's important for both of us to feel comfortable working together. For you, this might look like feeling open enough to talk freely and honestly. If we are not compatible, I can help you find a therapist who might be a better fit.
Where?
